ICF
GreenSpaceStructures uses next generation materials. Insulated concrete forms (ICF), are forward thinking materials which provide a surplus of additional benefits and set the groundwork towards building green, long-standing, net zero buildings - be it a house, apartments, or commercial buildings.
PICK GREEN
ICF is used to build the exterior walls of the building, providing a monolithic barrier of solid concrete encasing the entire structure. It also provides a monolithic sheet of foam both on the interior and exterior sides of the wall. What does this mean? Superior insulation reducing your energy bill considerably.
CHOOSE SUSTAINABLE
On top of reducing energy consumption when building with ICF, you also build to last. ICF walls have storm ratings that protect you against hurricanes and tornadoes. In the Dallas, Tx area, for example, all new school buildings are required to be built with ICF to offer protection to students when strong storms go through. In addition to its exceptional strength, these walls are low maintenance - concrete and foam do not get mold and they do not warp and twist and break every time it rains like wooden studs do.
